An accomplishment… finally!

Last week was an incredible week for me so I thought I would share it with everyone! Last Monday I ran 3.1 miles, Tuesday I ran 4.4 miles, Thursday I ran 6 miles, and Saturday I ran 8 miles!! That is 21.5 miles in one week… and no shin splints!!
Yesterday my legs were pretty sore from Saturday’s run but I have been icing and stretching. I am getting a massage on the legs tonight, followed by water running. I am super excited because it was beginning to feel like a struggle being parked on the sidelines for the last few weeks. I have learned that it just takes time, patience, and a good routine of proper maintenance on the injury and you will be back in no time! I am hoping that this week goes just as well!
